Background.

The Academy for Public Health (AÖGW) has been the central institution for education, training, and professional development in the Public Health Service (ÖGD) for over 50 years, with more than 19,000 participants each year. Together with the Project Office for Digital Tools (PDT), it supports the ÖGD in navigating the growing field of digital solutions and systematically ensuring their quality.

Review Process.

The Polyteia Software Suite was evaluated as part of the review process of the Project Office for Digital Tools (PDT) and recommended as a software solution suitable for the Public Health Service (ÖGD). In this structured procedure, a professional and technical advisory board assesses digital solutions based on criteria such as interoperability, ease of use, data protection, IT security, and professional relevance. Following the positive evaluation, the Polyteia Software Suite has been listed in the PDT’s public register of recommended tools.
